1. You have been elected to provide governance to the state that has not been having one for the last many years. Except for power situation and grabbing the land grabbers, governance in terms of better fiscal management is not to be seen.
2. Providing freebies might be your policy decision. But that is no way different from what your predecessor did except for the fact that you chose to provide goats and other livestock in addition to the other freebies. Incidentally on Aug 15 this year, you chose to announce the 'free chicken and goat' scheme and declared that you are a welfare state while just the previous day, Aug 14, the PM of Singapore declared in his National Day Address that Singapore could not become a welfare state despite the enormous cash reserves that his country had. He cited the example of Greece and its current condition due to its policy of being a welfare state. I presume that your govt does not have more cash reserves than Singapore. If you are cash surplus, then why do you have deficit budgets ?
3. As a Chief Minister you are free to decide policy matters as that is the power of the executive. But that does not mean that you could take illogical decisions like Anna Library conversion. Pls explain how that move is in any way going to uplift the lives of the millions of people of the state while your own Egmore Childrens' Hospital is crying for attention.You are free to initiate inquiries on the scams in Anna Library construction.
4. Being irrational is the unique characteristic of the dravidian political parties. But as a government, you are bound to perform to the expectations of the people and not according to your political aspirations.
5. You are free to choose your ministers and I am free to walk on the roads and not be obstructed by large hoardings of yours put up by your ministers and party-men. Though this is lesser than what used to be in the last 5 years, it should need to be abolished in to-to. The Singapore and Japanese ministers do not erect cut-outs for their chiefs nor do the Democrats do for Obama.
6. Educate your ministers to speak on TV without uttering 'Amma' and to speak on the issues on hand only.
7. I gave you the mandate to rule me after having been an audience to a Chief Minister who wrote dialogues for un-watchable films and attended valedictory parties for his non-achievements. I do not expect an encore of those days. 
8.  Your mandate is to provide governance for the state and not to pass anti-national resolutions in the assembly or for that matter matter pass resolutions on foreign policy matters like economic sanctions on Sri Lanka etc. Your predecessor did these tricks and you know where he is now.
9. I don't want to demean myself by having to stand in front of semi-literate Electricity Board Staff begging for some issue resolution or waiting for some VIP to arrive before a traffic hold-up is cleared. 
10. I don't want your party men to stare down on me from huge hoardings as I don't give a damn to 'Bullet' Rajendran, 'Bunk' Kumar, 'Spanner' Suresh, 'Auto' Antony. I don't want these people to bless me from the hoardings during my morning walks. Lastly, these people were in the same hoardings even during the previous regime owing allegiance to the then Chief Minister.
11. The 5-year term that you have got does not mean that you are free to do what ever you want for the next 5 years and come back to the people asking for a subsequent term but it is a reminder to you that however hard you work and what ever exemplary service you do to the people, you need to go back to them after 5 years and ask for permission to continue. Your predecessor forgot this at his own peril.
12. The saving grace for you is that your predecessor's score was 0.5 / 10.  But if you make that score lull you into being complacent, then I would probably have to appraise someone else next time.

Suggestions for Improvement :

1. Refer to the Gujarat Chief Minister's model of governance and you would not need to campaign during an election till the end of your life. (His model is criticized by the Congress government at the Center and hence should be good for the country and the people.)

Jayalalithaa's second fall in 100 days

Dear Ms.Jayalalithaa,

Welcome aboard for the third time but pity you for falling for the second time in your first 100
days.

Let me come over to your second fall first - would want to term it the second lunatic act - but stopping short of saying that. Instead would term it an act of cowardice, to put it mildly.

You were right up to the point when you had said that beyond the President's orders, you were powerless and hence did not choose to act on the mercy petition of Rajiv killers. But when the lunatic hoodlums from TN comprising of fringe elements like Nedumaran, Vaiko and Ramadoss who have nothing in common but an element of 'sympathy' towards the LTTE and who have lost out completely in the recent elections and have absolutely no base among the voters in TN ( Citizens of India ), your government did a somersault and of all stunts, passed a resolution in the assembly requesting clemency to the killers of Rajiv.

Let me remind you that you have been chosen not to safeguard killers and mercenaries. You have been elected to retrieve what ever is left of the piece of the country called Tamil Nadu.

Your election plank was not to save Rajiv killers and additionally the killers of the 17 other policemen ( they were Tamil too ). You were elected to work for the people of Tamil Nadu.

Rajiv was killed, as has often been declared by the LTTE in the courts as well, for teaching him a lesson for sending the peace keeping force to SL. But wait a minute. The former PM just implemented a resolution of the Parliament of India.

As a result of the killing, you had won a grand victory in 1991, no doubt, in the elections. But the nation as a whole had to suffer later on as there was always this instability. We had to suffer a Gujral and a Deve Gowda as PMs and the nation was set back by another 10 years during their tenure until Vajpayee come over to salvage the situation.

You might want to believe that you had scored a point over the DMK on the Rajiv killer front. There is no need to do this as the DMK is already history and the country knows of the plight of the party.

Just when you came back to power and started making some rational decisions, I was under the impression that TN was on its way towards progress like Gujarat's no-nonsense approach to development.

What a precedent you had set ! What if the Nagaland assembly passed a resolution demanding independence now that there is no dearth of lunatics in India with Omar Abdullah and his father from J&K being the head of the Lunacy Department ?

I would, as an Indian, term your act as an act in complete cowardice and the second of the somersault to score some political brownie points against a non-existent opposition, much to the detriment of national integrity.

And you had your first fall when you wanted to appeal against the HC ruling on the Uniform system of education. I know that the USE is, pardon me, fit for lunatics. But that was the lunacy brought upon the people by a lunatic government lead by a lunatic who spent his time in the company of movie stars. And you need not have appealed in the SC. Quietly you could have allowed the USE-less education to propagate for one year, reveal itself in full and then introduce the new method from next year on-wards.

And, in any case, the state board syllabus is useless and serves only the cause of paper re-cyclers.

Hence, please watch-out before you falter again as during the current times, the people don't forgive politicians that are irresponsible.

Why not a "Bharat Ratna" for Kasab ?

So, why the hue and cry for the killers of Rajiv and that too by Karunanidhi and a bunch of hoodlums comprising of mis-guided students, electorally defeated caste chieftains such as Ramdoss and Thirumavalavan ?

The ostensible reason : it has taken 20 years to arrive at the death sentence for the killers. And the killers are Tamils. Hence the death sentence should be commuted to life imprisonment.

A mute question here : The 17 other policemen who were killed along with Rajiv Gandhi, were they not Tamil enough ?

So who rejected the mercy petition in the first place ? Smt.Pratibha Patil ( if the name is not familiar, she is the President of the Republic of India ).

Why did she reject ? Because the Union Cabinet rejected the mercy petition and hence advised her thus to do so.

Why did the Cabinet reject the mercy petition ? Because the Governor of Tamil Nadu recommended so.

Why did the Governor recommend thus ? Because the State govt of Tamil Nadu advised thus.

So, who was the head of the TN govt then who did this recommendation ? Shri. Karunanidhi, the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in the year 2000.

So why does Karunanidhi back the mercy petition now in 2011 ? Probably this is 'Paguththarivu' or rationalism.

But some 'rational' questions remain.

Why does Karunanidhi not talk to Pratibha directly on this ? Is is he who backed her Presidential candidature first and in fact took pride in bringing forth a woman for that position.

Also, who are participating in the protests ? Law breaking 'law'less students who aspire to become 'lawyers'. How do they protest ? By climbing on trains and staging 'rasta-roko'. Here we see pictures of 'lawyers' climbing the gates of the high court in Madurai Tamil Nadu. Probably this is how lawyers 'stand-up' for justice to prevail .(Note that these people had not come out to protest for Anna Hazare.)

And immediately some innocent students / young people commit suicide by self-immolation. And people who self-immolate are invariably from the lower income group who have nothing but idealism in their minds and who are fired by speeches that they keep hearing. Sengodi, a teen-age student immolated herself for the cause of the 3 prisoners.

Now, how does a suicide help in this cause ? In case the three prisoners' life sentences are commuted, what happens to the parents of the girl who self immolated ? Interestingly, no relative of the pro-LTTE leaders commit such acts.

How does a suicide bomber like Kasab justify to be kept alive at state expense ? In any case he had come on a mission to kill and be killed.

Hence it follows that once the date of hanging of Kasab approaches, there could be people from section of the population who would argue for commuting his sentence.

We have heard of 'Arjuna' awardees languishing in poverty in India. But Kasab and Afzal Guru are being fed and taken care of at our cost.

Therefore, instead of waiting for long, let us confer 'Bharat Ratna' on Kasab and officially take care of him for the rest of his life. That would be a great tribute to the Indians who were killed in the events of 26/Nov/2008.

Headless Chickens

There was this comment of 'headless chickens' by ambassador Ronen Sen about the Indian Parliamentarians for which he was reprimanded. What is being seen now makes the comment true in letter and spirit. Not a word or act of leadership is seen in this govt.

On day one the spokesperson of the Congress calls Anna a liar and while the govt tries to backtrack on the comment.

On day one, ministers prostrate before Baba Ramdev at the airport. On day three he becomes a crook and on day four he is arrested. No explanation what so ever.

On day one Anna is a Gandhian, On day two he is a liar and on day three he is called for the meetings of the Jan Lokpal and on day ten, he is not to be respected and will be called a liar again.

And you have the (in)famous Digvijay who would connect the 'Vande Mararam' to RSS and hence proclaim that Anna has the backing of the RSS. Even if true, so what ?

Next comes the accusation that the US is behind this protest ,soon to be backtracked, yet again.

No body of substance and matter in the govt seems to speak at all.

Sibal and Chidambaram, who at other times are at their vocal best, are nowhere to be seen while the crisis has been allowed to precipitate.

And as usual, the PM does not seem to exist.

A protestor and his team, with ideological moorings that are no doubt correct, has been made a super hero and the whole nation and its governance are being held to ransom. No doubt corruption has reached its heights but let the Parliament function and pass laws. Make your MPs accept the 'Jan' Lok Pal and ask them to pass it in the Parliament.

Whether the Parliament consists of crooks or bandits, it represents the people of the country.

This very same middle class that is protesting now does not seem to vote in elections while opting to watch IPL and other tamashas.

What happens next when a 10,000 strong crowd assembles in Delhi and goes on a protest emanding independence for Kashmir or a separate country called Tamil nadu ( now that Karuna and team are jobless, they could as well team-up with the vagabonds like Thiruma and Ramadoss of PMK ) ? Would the govt (in)act thus ?

The great destroyer P.Chidambaram ( be it finance or home ) had famously said about Arundati Roy's seditious speech that even inaction was action. So is the govt following the Chidambaram Doctrine again ?

A Jayalalitha would have handled this better while the highly erudite Dr.Singh, often been accused of waiting for orders from the high command, really seems to make the above accusation true by his (in)action.

It is a pity that there are no statesmen seen in the govt while there are only some men who make statements and quickly backtrack.

Seems the chickens await the mother hen from the US!

The classic case of India being treated as a banana republic based out of Africa.

And this comment is based on India's proposed handling of Anna Hazare's fast. And you kept up to the remark as well.

A nation whose President prides himself on Gandhian values and Martin Luther King's philosophy, has chosen to 'expect' India to adhere to democratic handling of a peaceful protest - what a fall India has had to face beause of you, Congress !

How many more lows do you want for India in your insatiable hunger for power ?

You have appointed a President who has had questionable integrity yet pontificates on corruption.

You have a PM who is on "silent mode" for any call and is answerable only to the 2G - SoniaG and RahulG.

You have the power centers ( the 2Gs) always in 'out of coverage area'.

You have the most incorrigible spokespersons in the lines of Manish Tiwari who vomits that he is told to.

And Digvijay Singh attributes any organ dysfunction of his to the RSS.

The buffoons who masquarade as ministers in the lines of:
Kapil Sibal - the classical zero loss theoritician
Chidambaram - the eternal destroyer, be it finance or home

The unfailing regularity with with scams happen and the alarming frequency with which you receive raps from the Supreme Court for

A. 2G connundrum
B. CWG mess
C. Adarsh imbroglio
D. The Black Money lullabies

And the lacklustre national day speeches by the PM and the President.

And the wisdom with which you allowed Hurriyat separatists to organize protests in Delhi but not Anna Hazare who is not a separatist.

And finally for making me nostalgic about Indira Gandhi by imposing a near emergency.

Dr.Kalam, be ready for the 'secular' onslaught !

Recently Abdul Kalam has spoken about Ramanaya, the need to understand when it happened and most importatnly about the 'Ramar-Sethu' - the bridge built by Lord Ram etc. He has also eulogized the vedic period,the agricultural and medical practices of those times.

I am afraid Kalam would be taken to task by the 'secular' media and the 'secular' political parties and the pseudo-secular intellectuals starting from Mr and Mrs Karat, N.Ram, Manishankar Iyer, most importantly Digvijay Singh, the 'secularist fountainhead', and ofcourse our stalwart Kapil Sibal who has got the most stupid answer on almost every thing on earth (eg: "The Classical Theory of 'zero' loss due to 2G").

The rationalists from Tamil Nadu would probably not open their mouth considering their current travails but you can expect the mouthpiece Veeramani to shoot his mouth out very soon !

So, Dr.Kalam, be prepared for some 'secular' handling by the born again secularists !!

வேதகாலத்தில் இயற்கையோடு இயைந்த வேளாண் சாகுபடி முறைகளைத்தான் நம்முடைய முன்னோர்கள் கடைப்பிடித்தனர். அவற்றை அறிவதன் மூலம் நாம் ஏராளமான பாடங்களைப் படிக்கலாம்.

வேத காலத்தில் மண்ணின் தன்மையைப் பொருத்து நிலங்களை 12 வகைகளாக நம்முடைய முன்னோர்கள் வகுத்துள்ளனர். அவற்றுக்கேற்ற தானியங்களையும் காய்கறிகளையும் கனிகளையும் கிழங்குகளையும் கீரைகளையும் பயிரிட்டுப் பலன் கண்டுள்ளனர். கால்நடை வளர்ப்பில் கை தேர்ந்தவர்களாக இருந்திருக்கின்றனர்.

அந்தக் கால பருவநிலைகளையும் பருவ நிலைகளில் ஏற்படும் மாற்றங்களையும் நன்றாகவே பதிவு செய்திருக்கிறார்.

ராமாயணத்தில் வரும் குறிப்புகளைக் கொண்டு ஆராய்ந்ததில் ராமாயணம் நிகழ்ந்து சுமார் 7,000 ஆண்டுகள் ஆகியிருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற முடிவுக்கு பல அறிஞர்கள் வந்துள்ளனர்.

வால்மீகி ராமாயணத்தில் தரும் குறிப்புகளின்படியே அதே இடத்தில்தான் ராமர் கட்டிய சேது (பாலம்) இன்றைக்கும் இருக்கிறது. கடந்த 7,000 ஆண்டுகளில் இந்தப் பகுதியில் கடலில் நீர் மட்டம் சுமார் 9 அடிக்கு அதிகரித்துவிட்டதாக அறிவியல் நிபுணர்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். ராம சேது இன்றைக்கு கடல் மட்டத்துக்கு 9 அடி ஆழத்தில்தான் இருக்கிறது.

பேச்சு வழக்கு எப்போது வந்தது, வால்மீகி ராமாயணம் எப்போது பாடப்பட்டது என்று ஆராய்வது அவசியம்.

நவீன அறிவியல் வளர்ச்சி காரணமாக தொல்லியல் துறையின் ஆராய்ச்சிப் பணிகள் எளிதாகவும் துல்லியமாகவும் உருப்பெற்றுள்ளன.

இந்த மண்ணில் வசிக்கும் நாம் அனைவரும் ஒரே மூதாதையரிடமிருந்து வந்துள்ளோம், நம் அனைவருக்கும் மூலம் ஒன்றுதான். எனவே இந்த ஆய்வுகள் நம்மை மேலும் ஒற்றுமைப்படுத்தி வலுப்படுத்த உதவும்' என்றார் கலாம்.

Right wing terror, did you say ?

The case of the right wing fanatic shooting down people in Norway seems to have turned the world's attention to right wing terror - or in other words, terror tactics by the majority population.

The more the governments want to 'show' that they encourage 'multi-culturalism' the more the right wingers develop.

Simple case in hand : India.

Nehruvian socialism, followed by many govts after him followed by careless pandering to the 'minorities' in India had eliminated the majority community from the Congress. Otherwise no body can explain the meteoric rise of the BJP in a span of 2 years.

The concept of 'secularism' was and is taken to the extreme that the govts tend to be more anti-majority-religion than the otherway round.

Even now, when Raja accused Chidambaram and the PM for being in the know of the 2G case, and then BJP asked Chidambaram to resign, the latter played the 'hindu-terror' card and said that the BJP was opposng him because he was trying to investigate the right wing violencce. Such actions only embolden the right wingers and help in consoidating them.

Addded to that is the left wing academicians that want to do away with anything that is Indian - right from history to medicine. This further alienated the majority community from these 'secular' avatars and begin to oppose such gimmics.

If not who can explain the stranglehold that the Shiv Sena has on the masses in Mumbai ? They cater to the wounded feelings of the majority community and thereby win their hearts.

It also seems that during the Gujarat riots after the Godhra rail burning, even middle class hindu house wives ( maamis in our parlance ) came out into the streets with logs in hand to participate. They were not trained to do that. But what was in show was the exhibition of a pent up anger suppressed for many years ( right from the days of the islamic invasions ).

Unless the govts of the day stop playing vote-bank politics and the Prime Ministers stop saying things like 'Muslims have the first right on the national resources', there is ample opportunity for the right wing to consolidate. Once this consolidation happens, the governments formed by them would be inimical to the so-called 'others'.

The 'seculars' understand this. Thus they play such divisive cards on the majority like caste politics and regional politics ( case in hand - Tamil Nadu - where candidate selection for elections is purely based on caste and religion however egalitarian and rationalist the parties would want the people to believe them to be ).

'Inclusive growth' should not only be there in election manifestoes but also be seen in action to avoid such polarization on religious grounds.

Well, while I might be reviled for this write-up, the fact of the matter is the more the pandering to the minorities, the more the chances for right wing terror to develop. A child plays pranks and throws tantrums mostly to draw attention to itself.

Will we, as a nation, understand this ?

Really, what a feat !

A fantastic achievement that cannot be repeated in a 100 years to come !

And that needs another Karunanidhi to do that, no body else !

So what is the achievement all about ?

Was it the ability to create and maintain such a multitude of family ?

Was it the insatiable appetite for money that ensured that a 'naadaswaram' player from Thiruvarur became a multi-billionaire and in-turn created several multitudes of millionaries in different parts of the state with the only filter condition that the millionaires were members of the extend arms of your own family ?

Was it the innumerable awards that you received as the former chief minister and the final award for receiving the most number of awards from any Tom, Dick and Harry err.. Elavazhagan, Anbazhagan and Tamizh Maaran ( for the sake of Tamil you see ..).

Was it the great mockery that you and your extended family conducted in Coimbatore in the name of 'Semmozhi Maanaadu' - the classical tamil conference conducted at a whooping cost of Rs 350 crore ( public money, you see ) out of which only the contractors affiliated to your party stood to gain a lot ?

Was it your ability to completely bury the tamil folk arts by way of conducting 'Chennai Sangamam' with the help of an LTTE funded organization and thereby trying to keep Kanimozhi afloat in the murky world of tamil nadu politics ?

Let us look at your achievements one by one and congratulate you on each count for having systematically destroying each ( thanks to you and your group of loyal house-keepers for that !)

Let us start with the world of 'Rationalist Movement' erroneously called by different names such as 'Suya Mariyadhari Iyakkam ( Self Respect Movement ), 'Samooga Needi Iyakkam' ( Social Justice Movement ) etc and the numerous other epithets that are normally associated with you.

1. Rationalist Movement :

The so-called 'Rationalist Movement' espoused by the so-called 'Rationalist god-head' EVR ( Periyar for the masses )was supposed to have been the erradicator of all caste and religious eveils in the state. EVR was supposed to have helped attain equality among all castes and religions. He was supposed to have denounced all god-forms and hence all religions. But the reality is he tried to denounce the hindu gods and the brahmin community. Notwithstanding the merits of his policy, let us lok at how you dismembered his ideals ( if you can call them ideals ).

A. EVR was supposed to have been the 'Father of Tamils' ( Thamizhar Thandhai' ). But the reality is that he belonged to a Kannada speaking warrior community represented called 'Naiker'. He never renounced his name and signed all cheques and documents as 'E.V.Ramasamy Naicker'. So much for erradicating caste and religion. You had denounced Lord Ram. But the 'father of tamils' held on to 'Ramasamy' till his end.

B. EVR, true to his supposed beliefs, never seemed to worship god, hindu god at that. But you made EVR the thirteenth Azhwar ( holy man according to the Vaishnava Sect) by errecting his statue in front of the Sri Rangam temple. By your deed, the hindu pantheon got an 'Azhwar' free of cost, in fact at Govt cost and made EVR worship Lord Ranganatha 24x7, all days of the week in the Vaishava Holy land Sri Rangam. ( probably due to this yeoman service, your bete-noire Jayalalitha, a vaishnavite, has recently won her election from Sri Rangam).

C. The more you publicly criticize the hindu gods, the more your family members visit the temples of south india, probably to expiate the sins that you are causing by way of your utterences. Your wife Smt.Dayalu Ammal, your companion Rajathi Ammal, your daughter-in-law Durga Stalin and your daughter Selvi keep visiting temples, in pubic gare, to pray for your party's victory. What an achievement Sir ji. The more they visit the temples, the more their accompanying artists vist them and thus the temple priests ( the abnoxious brahmin community that is responsible for the dravidian down fall !! ) stands to gain by way of temple / plate offerings.

D. Your God EVR had said that God ( read hindu God as per the classical rationalist theory of Erode ) never existed. He further espoused that those who propogate God were barbarians. Hence you decided to increase the barbarian population and brought in a law allowing people of all castes to become 'Archakar' or priest thereby making EVR turn in his grave. Thanks for that service. Not only have the barbarian population increased but also those following those barbarians such as your family members who visit temples have increased.

E. Have you noticed that your family members have been visiting temples and performing yagas and homams at temples such as Kalahasthi, Thirunallaru, Madurai and Ramanathapuram only. These temples have only brahmin priests ? Why not ask them to alteast visit those temples where non-brahmins are priests ? Why don't they visit the village temples of deities such as Ayyanaar, Muneeswaran, Mariyamma etc ? Thanks for making them visit only brahmin-priested temples thereby closing the rationalistic coffin of EVR.

F. Again thanks for declaring time and again that the DMK was not a 'Sankara Matam' where successors are annointed by the prevailing Swamijis. You are right. In the 'Sankara Matams' there can only be one successor. But in the DMK, the state has been divided into many fiefdoms with each family member being incharge of each.

Now NDTV and CNN-IBN shall be busy atleast for the next 2 weeks conducting opinion polls on terrorism. Advani and Modi would talk about the blasts and hence the nation shall forget my corrupt govt for a while.

In any case Digvijay Singh would talk about saffron terrorism and keep the flames up for some more time.

'The Hindu' would run editorials asking me to conduct talks with Pakistan.

What I was not able to achieve by propping up Anna Hazare and later subdued Anna Hazare by propping up Ramdev and later on led the media with a midnight arrest drama of Ramdev, you have achieved by just 3 blasts.

We might have heard about earning while learning. But here is a girl who tries to learn while earning.

Probably the child thinks that the Chief Minister is too busy working for the welfare of his family, the 'Pattaali' party is busy looking after its own 'Koottalis', and therefore let me take care of myself as well as my family by trying to learn while earning for a living repairing shoes.

No, the below people are not laughing at the fate of the girl above. They know that the girl cannot vote yet. Hence they are safe. They are laughing amongst themselves that the girl's parents and the millions of other people who have sold their voting rights to them for a pittance.

Secular Scam Republic - India ?

Prime Minister who ??

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,

I hope you wouldn't mind me calling you thus. I came to know from Wikipedia that you are the Prime Minister of India and thus enlightenment dawned on me that my nation has one.

Prime Ministers are supposed to be the most prime of the ministers that rule the country. The last time that I came across one was  Mr.Vajpayee as I distinctly remember my nation being made proud by his announcement that India had blasted three atomic weapons. The next time was when he brought in the visionary 'Golden Quadrilaeral' project. Since then I have not had the opportunity to know that I had a Prime Minister as I have not been able to see anything progressive happening in the country at the behest of yourseld that would make an ordinary citizen proud of.

Well, not wishing to dwell too much on the previous PM, let me quickly revert back to your tenure.

I would like to remember something from your tenure. Apologies for stating this, but the only things that crop up as soon as I think of your tenure are the following :

1. Natwar Singh episode and the kickbacks from the 'Oil for Money' programme of Saddam husseing government. Your then external affairs minister was getting money from another government. Well, getting money from another government was nothing new for your party and I very well know that.

2. H.R.Bharadwaj, the then Law Minister giving a clearance to the Bank of England to de-freeze the accounts of Quattorchchi, the friend of Sonia. And immediately Quattorochchi withrew all his money - needless to say that the money was the bofors kickbacks money. I distinctly remember your statement then that an innocent person should not be troubled too much. These happened even when the CBI had a red corner notice against Quattotochchi. And immediately after that statement of yours, the CBI closed the case. 

3. The shoddy treatment meted out to Dr.Abdul Kalam, the then outgoing President and your backing of the current President despite all the cases pending against her and the RBI's Liquidation notice to her bank.

4. The eqally shoddy treatment meted out to the former Chief Election Commissioner's recommendation regarding Mr.Navin Chawla. Even before the President had an opportunity to go through the report from the former CEC, your law minister said that the recommendation would be rejected. And all tall talk of constitutional propriety ?

5. Your cabinet ministers speak out of turn in every given opportunity while at the same time speaking ill about another ministry - recent examples being Jairam Ramesh chiding the Infrastructure ministry and Infrastrucure minister Kamal Nath ridiculing Montek Singh Ahluwalia of the Planning Commission.

6. Your Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has all the time in the world to look after BCCI and IPL that he doesn't have the time to concentrate on rising prices and decreasing agricultural produce. Yet he continues to be your Agriculture Minister.

You have been blamed of inaction in every sphere be it th rising prices, the Kashmir conundrum, the Maoist menace, the China issue et al.

Wait a minute. Do you know that there is a state called Arunachal Pradesh that is supposed to be an integral part of India ? Do you know that China considers it her own integral part ? Are you aware that China does not issue visas to enter China for the Indian bureaucrats from Arunachal because it treats the people of Arunachal to be their own citizens  and therefore issues only stapled visas that are not endoresed in the passport ? Have you made atleast one statement on this ?

Additionally for the people of Kashmir ( Indian part), China does not issue visas endorsed in the passport and it just issues a stapled visa. Are you aware of this at all? I have been waitng for the last 6 years to hear from you on this.

Can you issue stapled visa to people from Tibet thus making a stand on the Tibet issue? Probably you would need to ask Sonia who in any case wouldn't know anything at all as she considers Italy her home even now.

The last person to acknowledge that China is a real threat to India was George Fernandes. Have you atleast understood the magnitude of the problem ?

Despite my best efforts, I am not able to remember any other positive achievement of yours during the 6 years that you have been in office so far.

I have explicitly refrained from writing about the CWG, Adarsh and 2G scams as enough has already been written and said about them. And it is too depressing to write only about scams and let-downs on the part of the government.

What bothers me, as a concerned citizen, is your spectacular stiff upper lip on all these. You have not spoken on any of the scams at all. Either your ministerial colleagues have said something ( I am restraining myself from using expletives here as I still have some sense of honour left for the office of the PM ) or your coalition partners have conjured-up some verbage neither of which has helped soothe my highly tensed nerves.

Neither do you exercise control on who your ministerial colleagues are nor do you seem to have control about what your ministers say.

The Radia tapes don't even mention your name in any ministerial allocation exercise. As a citizen partially literate about the ' it is the Prime Minister's prerogative to choose his minister' kind of constitutional stuff, I am constrained to ask this question : Do you realize that you are the Prime Minister of this country and the constitutional obligation to follow and uphold the constitution of the nation ?

Any ordinary worker would have quit his position / job if he would have found that he would not be able to perform his duties due to interferences etc. Are you aware that you too have that option ?

I am not as academically qualified or as intellctually bent as you are. Hence I would request you to correct me if I would have attributed anything above that should not have been attributed to you.

But I  have a confession to make. When you had assumed power in 2004, I had seen that your academic qualifications had all the permutations and combinations of the English alphabet. I had a hope that under such an academic personality, India would scale new heights in many positive aspects. But after six years of your two consecutive terms,  the only sphere in which India seems to have scored high is in corruption - corruption of un-imaginable proportions. What a fantastic feat !

In any case I have a great admiration for you. That is because of the following: When the 2G episode was unfolding itself and the Supreme Court was making you look like a school boy who had failed in all subjects yet appeared in the First-Rank list, there was this party conference of yours where Sonia was making a scathing attack on corruption. You remained stoic and calm and composed while I would have burst out in laughter on hearing what Sonia had said. Your ability to control the un-controllable laughter amidst such a hilarious joke is certainly a quality that I would want to emulate.

I don't expect to get a reply for this letter. Probably you would be too busy covering the tracks on 2G along with Kapil Sibal.

Wishing you a happy republic day when I expect to hear another version of the Presidential Speech of last year - equally lacking in lustre and equally boring as your Independence Day speeches.

What do you understand by 1,76,000 Crore ?
G1 : That is the number of times the RSS has committed communal disturbance in the last 50 years.
G2: This is the number of huts in Bihar that I need to visit to partake of the porridge prior to the next election.
MK : You are asking me this number because I don't wear a thread on my body. This is what Anna fought for.
Kani : The number of times I would have spoken to NR.

Why did the 2g scam happen ?
G1 : I want to emphasize that we need to fight the RSS evil tooth and nail.
G2: We will fight corruption tooth and nail.
MK : Because of Jayalalitha and the brahmanical newspapers. That is what EVR Periyar fought against,
Kani : Did it ever happen ? I didn't ask NR to do this at all in my phone talks with her.
Rasa : Looks like Dayanidhi Maaran is behind this. I will any ways consult with NR on this.

How can such a scam be avoided in future ?
G1 : Once the RSS is banned this will not happen. That is what Indiraji told me as soon as I became her 'bahu'.
G2: Once Narendra Modi's govt is disodged from gujarat, such scams can be avoided.
MK : Go and ask 'Ammaiyar' Jayalalitha. You don't want a 'shudra' govt in the state. Anna told me this many times.
Kani : Just allot the Voltas Lands to Rajaathi Amma ( my mother ) and such things will never happen.
Rasa : As long as we follow the BJP govt's policies, this will happen. Shall speak to NR on this.
NR : I will talk to Hillary Clinton today and get a clarification issued as soon as Obama wakes up.

Why did the Auditor General write such a scathing report ?
G1 : I did not appoint the CAG as I had appointed Pratiba and Navin Chawla. That is my mistake. See there are no problems with Pratiba Patil and Chawla.
G2: I smell the RSS being behind this. We need to ban both the CAG as well as the RSS.
MK : CAG has only 90% reservation. Had we followed EVR and Anna's teachings, CAG would not have written this report.
Kani : You need to ask Dayanidhi about this. Also Alagiri would help in this question.
Rasa : Let me talk to NR and find out why.
NR : I will find from Nicholss Sarcozy today and get a clarification issued on that. I am meeting him tonight.
